The evangelism training program will simply help you reach those close to you more effectively. This will also give you the skills you need to be a better soul-winner, with instruction from experienced soul-winners in counseling, personal witnessing, public evangelism, how to give Bible studies, preaching, and so much more. You will also be able to answer difficult Bible questions, effectively understand the science of soul-winning and gaining decisions. During these classes you will study the theory of evangelism from a Bible based standpoint. Evangelism is only effective when you have a solid foundation to “evangelize” from. To ensure that you have that solid foundation you will also have classes that will cover a variety of Biblical topics in-depth. Some of the classes you will take are Bible doctrines, Daniel and the Revelation, Spirit of Prophecy, and Health. These classes give you an opportunity to know from the Bible what the Seventh-day Adventist church believes. “My brethren and sisters, the Lord has blessed you with intellectual faculties capable of vast improvement. Cultivate your talents with persevering earnestness. Train and discipline the mind by study, by observation, by reflection. You cannot meet the mind of God unless you put to use every power. The mental faculties will strengthen and develop if you will go to work in the fear of God, in humility, and with earnest prayer. A resolute purpose will accomplish wonders. Be open, firm, decided Christians. Exalt Jesus, talk of His love, tell of His power, and thus let your light shine forth to the world.” {LS 275.2} And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
